robert-mutsauki.jpgLocal football will get enriched as administrators of the game from Provincial to National level have begun a week long FIFA Administrative training course that is set to develop them to become more efficient.

The FIFA administrators’ course comes to Zimbabwe for the first time and has attracted some 30 personnel who are mainly in charge of the day to day running of the various football structures.

Officially opening the training program, Zimbabwe Olympic Committee Chief Eecutive Robert Mutsauki welcomed the development program and challenged the secretariat to consider the training as an investment that should change the image and perception of local football in its various portfolios through their development.

FIFA regional instructor for administration Professor Tutu Faleni who will conduct the training says it will be an intense six days for the participants.


He hailed the program for having coincidentally come almost a month after the change of leadership in Zimbabwean football.

The course is expected to also help clearly shape and define the roles of the secretariat over those of the board as well as give the administrators an in-depth capacity development in issues like planning, event management, human resources and good governance.
