mighty wrriors 13-12-10.jpgThe Mighty Warriors Technical Department has announced the final 18 players that are going to do battle against Zambia’s Chepolopolo Queens tomorrow in the 1st leg of All Africa Games Qualifier at Rufaro Stadium.
The 18 players are goalkeepers: Onai Chingawo and Chido Dzingirayi.


Defenders: Dananai Bhobho, Ruvimbo Mutyavaviri, Eunice Chibanda, Rufaro Machingura, Patience Mujuru and Lillian Masase.


Midfielders include Talent Mandaza, Tsitsi Mairosi, Marjory Nyaumwe, Nokuthula Ndlovu, captain Nomsa ‘Boys’ Moyo and Emmaculate Msipa.


The strikers are Kudakwashe Bhasopo, Erica Jeke, Violet Bepete and Rudo Neshamba.

Among those who were dropped are 2 regulars: Judith Lunga and Nomatter Mharakurwa, who failed to make the grade due to injuries.

Meanwhilke, football fans say the Mighty Warriors stand a good chance of winning this Sunday’s match against the Zambian’s Chipolopolo Queens and have pledged to rally behind the team during the free for all encounter penciled for Rufaro Stadium.

A random survey in the streets of Harare revealed soccer fans are enthusiastic ahead of this Sunday’s All Africa Games Mighty Warriors – Chepolopolo Queens qualifier.

The supporters hailed the initiative to make the match free and pledged that they would come in their numbers to give their support to the ladies team.

“We will be there to support our team, go Mighty Warriors go,” said one supporter.
