Some people who were injured during an explosion that happened at White City Stadium in Bulawayo, at a Zanu PF presidential rally have been taken to Mpilo Central and Mater Dei Hospitals for medical attention with government saying it is doing its best.
The ZBC News crew visited Mpilo Hospital where 15 of the injured victims were receiving medical attention.
Speaking to ZBC News, Health and Child Care Minister Dr Parirenyatwa said government and the hospital management have put in place measures to ensure that the victims get the best medical attention.
Meanwhile, people who witnessed the explosion have condemned the act describing the behaviour of such people as barbaric and an insult to peace loving Zimbabweans.
Investigations on the explosion are still in progress following the suspected bomb blast that occurred at White City Stadium when President Mnangagwa had just finished his address and was leaving the podium.
