Some Epworth residents have castigated the local board for planning to demarcate their stands into 200m2 per individual and are demanding at least 400 m2.
The residents say the arrangement will cause diseases due to the size of the stands.
A representative of the residents Mr Kudakwashe Damson says they are not parting ways with their land arguing they have been paying subscriptions to the local board for more than a decade.
Three weeks ago the legislator for the constituency Cde Zalerah Makari said the initiative was to accommodate the residents and allocate them serviced stands in line with the ZIM ASSET.
Cde Makari indicated that demarcate land is being opposed by land barons who are illegally claiming ownership of land and capitalising on the illegal settlement.
