Dynamos 2017 goal hitter Cameroonian Christian Epoupa Ntouba may no longer be donning the blue and white jersey next year after reports indicated he may by then be gone to South African premiership side Bidvest Wits.
Ntouba leaves for South Africa this Thursday (tomorrow) supposedly for trials.
Dynamos secretary general Webster Marechera told ZBC News after collecting a letter to facilitate Ntouba ‘s visa to South Africa that the Cameroonian international attracted interests from Bidvest Wits who have invited the player for trials although the scouts were impressed with video footage of the player.
If the move is successful then Dynamos will have to reconstruct its forward where Epoupa had blended into a lethal combination with the youthful Quality Kangadze which almost earned DeMbare the championship.
Dynamos are on record saying they are not desperate to accept a meagre fee for their precious gem which means the South African premiership side should fork a lot for DeMbare to release the player.
The Cameroonian import who was incorporated by coach Lloyd Mutasa in a new look Dynamos that nearly stole the championship title on the last day of the season has been a pillar for the Glamour Boys providing goals that made the difference in DeMbare’s matches.
He was once touted the golden boot favourite though he later had a dry spell towards the end of the season.
The huge void that Epoupa leaves in the event he finalises his move might give coach Mutasa a headache since club officials have reiterated they will give him another dance at the helm of the country’s biggest club.
