epileptic-seizure-2.jpgThe Epilepsy Support Foundation will soon introduce regular mobile clinics in rural and peri-urban areas to assist people living with Epilepsy to have access to medical services.

The Epilepsy Support Foundation Senior Officer, Taurai Kadzviti said some patients lack access to medical examinations and drugs due to their geographical location.

He said Midlands, Mashonaland Central, West and East provinces will benefit from the mobile clinics first since they have the highest cases of the disease according to statistics from the Ministry of Health and Child Welfare.

Kadzviti said they need over US$100 000 to enable them to achieve the desired results.

He said they have created a database of people with Epilepsy so they can assist them with drugs and medical examinations.
