Masvingo is equipping women and youths with entrepreneurial skills and capital to start income generating projects which are set to improve the livelihoods of the populace.
This was revealed during celebrations hosted by Councillor Wellington Mahwende to thank the electorate.
“We are creating projects for the women and youths in order to empower them. These projects include poultry, which has already commenced, as well as a mushroom project that we want people to learn about,” he said.
Minister of State for Masvingo Province, Cde Ezra Chadzamira underscored the need to empower the electorate to live better lives through exploring available business opportunities.
“Now we want to fix all the things we promised the populace we would repair, such as roads, adding more stores and service stations, as well as giving people stands for them to have better lives,” Cde Chadzimira said.
The ruling party expressed gratitude to its supporters in Ward 6 for continuously rallying behind it throughout the years.
