The elderly at Ekuphumuleni Geriatrics Nursing Home were all smiles after they received a variety of goods from a local church.

Rubber scandals, bedding, cleaning implements and various other commodities made part of the donation by the Entumbane/Emakhandeni district of the Seventh Day Adventist Church.

Sister-in-charge at Ekuphumuleni, Mrs Lucia Malemane paid tribute to the Seventh Day Adventist church for the gesture while revealing that the institution had been facing dire need for the donated goods.

A patient and resident at the facility, Mrs Joyce Moyo said the goods will help improve their living conditions for the better.
