Discordance driven by egos between officers from the National Prosecuting Authority (NPA) and the Judicial Service Commission (JSC) has been identified as one of the major reasons that has been compromising effective justice service delivery in the country.

Inflated egos at the NPA and the JSC are one of the major reasons that has been compromising the delivery of an effective justice system in the country.

Secretary to the JSC Mr Walter Chikwanha says the two institutions are working hard towards finding each other, with overtures having already been made by the Prosecutor General Mr Kumbirai Hodzi.

Mr Hodzi says the two institutions are yearning for meaningful convictions in cases of corruption so that their resolve to fight the scourge is noticed.

The NPA and the JSC are holding a two-day anti-corruption training in Harare as part of efforts to enhance their efforts to curb corruption.
