The Karo Mining Holdings founder, Mr Locas Poulroulis and his delegation has met President Emmerson Mnangagwa at his Munhumutapa office in Harare this evening.
The meeting was aimed at briefing the President on the geo-physical work now being undertaken by the company at its $4.2 billion platinum and chrome mining project in Mhondoro.
The venture is expected to create 15 000 direct and over 90 000 downstream jobs.
President Mnangagwa said the commencement of the project is a welcome development.
Meanwhile, Karo Mining Holdings CEO, Mr Poevos Poulroulis has revealed that a conference on the exploration, mining and value addition of chrome will be held in Victoria Falls in May next year where over 100 international companies expected to attend.
