President Emmerson Mnangagwa attended his first African Union Peace and Security Council meeting in Mauritania on Saturday evening.
This follows the selection of Zimbabwe into the 15 member African Union (AU) Peace and Security Council in January this year.
The council manages political conflicts and wars on the continent.
Issues highlighted by the AU Commission Chairman, Mr Mussa Faki Mahamat during the session were the conflicts in South Sudan, the DRC, Somalia, the Saharawi and Morocco.
President Mnangagwa is always preaching love, peace and development.
Back home, he has also put in place various strategies to ensure peace in the country.
