Harare soccer giants Dynamos and Bulawayo side Highlanders failed to travel to Francistown, Botswana, where they were supposed to participate in a four team invitational tournament tomorrow.

In separate statements, the two teams officials – Highlanders chief executive officer Nhlanhla Dube and a Dynamos committee member, Graham Mafoko, said the teams failed to travel as a result of failure by the organisers of the tournament to adhere to previously agreed contractual obligations.

The two teams were supposed to take part in the Super Power Tournament.

Meanwhile, the organisers of the tournament, Joy Foundation Super Cup, say they regret that circumstances beyond their control have forced them to postpone the tournament to a later date.
