 PSL action provided a major twist at the weekend when FC Platinum stormed to the top of the standings with a 2-1 victory ensuring the reigning champions moved to pole position.

 Saturday’s win took FC Platinum’s points tally to 41 leaving Ngezi Platinum 3 points adrift the log leaders with 38 points.

 Chicken Inn bounced back from back-to-back defeats after registering a 2-nil win Herentals as Caps United edged Bulawayo City at the National Sports Stadium.

ZPC Kariba drew nil-all with Harare City while Triangle edged Nichrut 1-nil in Saturday’s other game.

On Sunday, Dynamos finally remembered how to win after edging bottom placed Mutare City 1-nil.

Bulawayo giants’ Highlanders lost further ground on the log leaders after a 1-nil defeat to Bulawayo Chiefs with Shabanie Mine and Black Rhinos drawing 2-all.

Yadah FC hammered Chapungu 3-nil in Sunday’s other game.
