dembare lose.jpgZimbabwe’s representative in the CAF Orange Champions League, Dynamos’ dream was shattered on Sunday night after they were knocked out 3-0 by MC d’Alger at the massive 105 000-seater Stade 5 Juillet 1962 Stadium in Algiers, to bow out in the first round.

Mc Alger won on away goals rule, after the two legs ended 4-4 on aggregate.

Reports from Algeria say all players in the Dynamos line-up received yellow cards from the referee, while Archford Gutu and Guthrie Zhokinyi received their second ones in the second half, leading to their exit.

The Zimbabwe giants won the first leg match 4-1 at Rufaro Stadium 2 weeks ago and MC d’Alger, needing a 3-nil win to pull through, did just that with two late goals.

Meanwhile, MC d’Alger will now meet Angolan champions interclube who reached the second round of the Orange CAF Champions League after beating Sudanese giants Al Merreikh 3-2 on penalties on Saturday in Luanda.
