The Minister of Information, Media and Broadcasting Services Dr Chris Mushohwe, his deputy Cde Thokozile Mathuthu, the Permanent Secretary Mr George Charamba and staff in the ministry have sent a congratulatory message to First Lady Dr Grace Mugabe on the occasion of her birthday.
In the message, Dr Mushohwe said the First Lady as the mother of the nation has distinguished herself through her philanthropic works and exemplary leadership qualities.
He praised her for her charitable work such as the Mazowe Orphanage and School which has seen her take care of orphans she has adopted from across the country and Danhiko, an institution for people with disabilities where the First Lady is the patron.
Dr Mushohwe said her stewardship of the two organisations demonstrates the First Lady’s motherly love and her dedication to charitable work.
He also applauded the First Lady for donating grain, mealie-meal foodstuffs, clothing and footwear to people from across the country as part of her efforts to assist the generality of Zimbabweans.
He wished the First Lady good health and many more years to come.
