Tribal House trio Djembe Monks has launched their 3rd album titled ‘Bantu Migrant’ at the National Art Gallery in Bulawayo.

Bantu Migrant which is a 13 track album features a blend of musicians from different genres, among them being Mimie Tarukwana, Martyn Oosthuizen, Willis Wataffi Afrika, Hudson Simbarashe, Xmile and Trust Samende from the popular Afro fusion band Mokoomba among others.

Djembe Monks have been on the road this year as they performed in Botswana at the Maun International Arts Festival, Tribe Initiation in Gaborone as well as at Unplugged in Harare.

They were also an opening act at Mokoomba’s show in Bulawayo.

The Tribal House group came into the music scene with a bang in 2012 when they released their first 12 track album ‘Deep Love Drums’.

The first album carried the song ‘Ngoma Yorira’ which featured urban grooves star Otis Ngwabi, since then, the Monks have never looked back on making big impressions.
