The diaspora community continues to show confidence in the new dispensation with the UK Diaspora Engagement Forum being the latest to show interest in investing in the country’s agriculture sector.

With investors flocking to Zimbabwe since the coming in of the new dispensation, the UK Diaspora Engagement Forum has not been left out as it has shown interest in investing in the agricultural sector.

The forum’s representative, Mr Cheuka, who is in the country to explore opportunities in the agricultural sector, said they are working with the Zimbabwean embassy to encourage Zimbabweans based in the UK to embrace farming as a business.

The initiative by the forum comes at a time another diaspora based organisation, the Zimbabwe Agricultural Initiative has started partnering local farmers and investing in the agricultural sector in a clear indication that President Emmerson Mnangagwa’s Zimbabwe is Open for Business policy is bearing fruit.
