Zanu-PF National Political Commissar, Cde Victor Matemadanda has urged party members to desist from any form of factionalism and embrace the new restructuring process the party has put in place.
He was addressing provincial chairs, war veterans, youth league and women’s league leadership from eight provinces, on the setting-up of District Coordinating Committee (DCC) which he said is already underway in Harare.
“I call upon all of you to participate in the restructuring process. All members of the youth, women’s leagues, war veterans should participate in this exercise. We want to build the party and stop factionalist, regionalism and tribalism in the party,” said Cde Matemadanda.
Restructuring in zone one which is Mashonaland Central will be coordinated by Cde Kazembe Kazembe, zone 2 Mash West by Cde Ziyambi Ziyambi, zone 3 Mashonaland East by Cde Matiza, zone 4 Masvingo by Cde Chadzamira and zone 6 Midlands by Cde Choweni.
