dynamos team.jpgZimbabwe’s CAF Champions League representatives – Dynamos are not leaving anything to chance when they take on Entente Setif in a group stage encounter of the continental competition in Algeria on Friday.

After narrowly beating Entente Setif on home soil just under a fortnight ago, Dynamos will be hoping for yet another match winning performance, but this time on foreign land.

A defeat in Algeria will be disastrous for Dembare who need to collect at least seven points from their last three matches to have a realistic chance of making the semi-finals.

Dynamos coach Elvis Chiweshe is aware of this and reckons a win is of paramount importance if the Harare giants are to keep their continental ambitions alive.

“We’re using the team that beat Entente in the last match and we’re going to play our normal game. We definitely need the three points if we are to advance to the semi finals. This game is our turning point and if we win it in confident we will make it to the semi finals,” said Chiweshe.

Nothing short of victory will suffice for Dynamos if their champions’ league journey is to remain on track. The Glamour Boys currently occupy third position on the Group B log with 3 points after 3 matches, while Entente Setif are entrenched at the bottom of the log, winless to date and with just one point to show for their effort.

TP Mazembe lead the standings with 7 points, while Esperance are in hot pursuit, just a point behind. The two pacesetters will square off in a top of the table clash in the other Group B match in Tunis.
