Delta Beverages today unveiled a new PSL sponsorship deal which includes the staging of a Castle Challenge Cup which will feature the winners of the domestic premiership and the Chibuku Super Cup.
Delta this Friday put to bed concern over whether they would commit themselves to prolonging their relationship with the Premier Soccer League after unveiling a sponsorship package which see Delta bankrolling the PSL league, the Chibuku Super Cup and the Castle Challenge Cup.
Delta Beverages Marketing Director Maxen Karombo said the sponsorship renewal emanates from a desire to play a role in developing sport.
The PSL sponsorship package worth US$3 450 000 will be for another 3 years, the same number as the previous agreement.
Acting PSL chairman Kenny Mubaiwa thanked Delta for showing faith in the PSL.
The domestic premiership will be sponsored to the tune of US$700,000 while the Chibuku Super Cup will have a value of US$400,000.
The winners of the Castle Challenge Cup will pocket US$30,000 with the losers getting US$20,000.
The PSL is set to get underway in April.
