One of the losing presidential candidates in the July 30 harmonised elections, Joseph Busha has called on elected members to prioritise the plight of people and the state of the economy instead of aimlessly bickering in parliament.

Busha, who leads the Free Zimbabwe Congress party, said election promises must be fulfilled and the nation must unite behind a common national vision to uplift the country from its challenges.

The sentiments come at a time the nation is deeply divided over political lines as evidenced by the endless chaos in parliament mainly at the instance of the MDC Alliance which has refused to accept President Emmerson Mnangagwa’s election victory.
