The third session of the Zimbabwe – South Africa Bi-National Commission (BNC) will be held on Tuesday, the 12th of March in Harare.

In a statement, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Trade said the two countries’ leaders; President Emmerson Mnangagwa and President Cyril Ramaphosa will head the BNC, the highest bilateral framework of co-operation between Zimbabwe and South Africa

The BNC is expected to review progress in the implementation of previously agreed projects under the various Memoranda of Understanding (MOU) already in operation and these cover the political, economic, social and technical sectors of the two countries.

The third session of the BNC will be preceded by a Ministerial Meeting on 11 March and a Senior Officials Meeting on 7 and 8 March.

The second session of the BNC between the two countries was last convened in South Africa in October 2017.
