Renowned Dancehall star, Sean Paul has arrived in the country to join Rhythm and Blues maestro, Akon who arrivedÂ on ThursdayÂ ahead of the convict concert to be held on Saturday.
The dancehall star Sean Paul was met amid pomp and funfair by a huge crowd at the Airport.
Sean Paul who later attended a press conference told the media that he is happy to be in Zimbabwe as he had always wanted to be in the country to follow the footsteps of the Reggae music icon Bob Marley who graced the countryâ€™s independence celebrations.
The dancehall star just like Bob Marley also said he will sing a special song for Zimbabwe which he had been working on before coming to the country.
Sean Paul castigated people with negative perceptions who have been peddling falsehoods about the country saying Zimbabwe is in fact a very safe place for anyone to be.
Sean Paul was escorted by a colorful motorcade to his hotel.
Some music fans spent long hours at a local Hotel to have a glimpse of the international music stars who are expected to perform at the National Sports Stadium on Saturday.
