The cricket fraternity still to come to terms with a disappointing display by Zimbabwe in a one-off test match which saw Allan Butcher’s charges succumbing to a heavy innings and 301-run defeat.

Cricket Analyst, Godfrey Koti was short of words that could describe Zimbabwe’s performance highlighting the need to make changes to the squad that will clash with the black caps on the T-20 and one-day arena.

Former Zimbabwe cricket team coach, Kevin Curran, also expressed disappointment with Zimbabwe’s showing, indicating the need for senior players to perform or face the axe.

The Zimbabwe cricket team put up a shocking performance which resembled that of a schoolboy team.

With New Zealand having posted 495 runs, Zimbabwe were bowled out for only 53 runs and forced to follow on.

With Allan Butcher’s charges expected to salvage some pride, the tourists appeared clueless, being bowled out for 143 runs and crashing to an innings and 301 run defeat.
