The letter which was written to the Finance Minister dated 3 February 2011, has not yet been replied, though Biti is said to have confirmed that he has received it.

Advocate Eric Matinenga confirmed that he has written a letter to his finance counterpart but funds are yet to be availed.

He said treasury has been alerted on the areas of priority which are the finalisation of the uploading process, thematic stage and the drafting.

Advocate Matinenga said the total amount of the money that is required is US$10, 5 million and government has not formally replied notifying his ministry when the funds will be released.

The constitution making process has been rocked by financial problems as the donor community and government have been delaying the release of funds.

Last week the quarterly budget for COPAC was approved and the donor community pledged US$4, 8 million, but the money is yet to be received.
