harare-magistrates-court.03.09.10.jpgThe two convicted Nyanga armed robbers, Tafadzwa Nindi and Bright Madanha are facing fresh charges of murder.

The two, who are currently saving their jail terms after being convicted of armed robbery by a Harare Magistrate, are expected to stand trial at the High Court in the next term.

Murder charges against the two arose following the death of Detective Sergeant, Joseph Maximus who was shot dead during the arrest of the robbers in Harare last year.

During the trial held at the Harare Magistrate Court, it was established that the two were not armed by the time they were arrested prompting the Magistrate to order for an inquest into the death of Maximus.
