Gokwe-Nembudziya legislator, Cde Justice Mayor Wadyajena says critics of command agriculture must come clean on their allegiance as the programme is complimenting the Presidential Input Scheme in boosting food security.

Pressure continues to mount on critics of command agriculture amid revelations by Mayor Wadyajena that those against the programme are being used by former commercial white farmers who want to see the failure of the land reform programme.

Addressing farmers in Gokwe, Cde Wadyajena said command agriculture and the Presidential Input Scheme have worked wonders for the country this year and those that are against the programme are championing western nations’ agenda.

Command agriculture is being financed by Sakunda Holdings having put US$190 million in the summer season and this year a total of US$487 million has been availed for the project.

The financier of the command agriculture is also funding the Presidential Inputs Scheme.
