coltart.jpgStakeholders in the arts, sport and culture sectors have lambasted the Minister of Education, Sport, Arts and Culture, Senator David Coltart, for not participating in crucial events such as the recently held NAMA awards, saying he is doing a disservice to the ministry.

Senator Coltart has come under fire from stakeholders who say the Minister is passive and is not showing any commitment to do his work.

Some said Senator Coltart is the missing link in the arts industry in the country, describing his ignorance of challenges in the arts sector as a drawback to development.

Sporting enthusiasts also said Senator Coltart has failed to attend some of the country’s important sporting matches and activities which he is supposed to grace.

The Minister shunned the Mighty Warriors’ match against Zambia’s Shepolopolo Queens at Rufaro Stadium two weeks ago.
