The Harare City Council has been called on to find ways to ensure the capital’s bus termini are kept free of litter.
Harare residents are not happy with the city fathers as they are failing to collect refuse on time.
A visit at the fourth street terminus witnessed the piling up of garbage after the skip bin in the area is filled up.
However, the City of Harare says it is being hampered by the non availability of equipment to collect refuse as well as people who throw litter, says City of Harare spokesperson Mr Michael Chideme.
Despite such problems as garbage removal among other challenges, the City of Harare has set a target of 2025 to achieve a world class status.
