cindy munyavi.jpgR&B diva Cindy Munyavi will this Sunday hit the grand stage at the Big Brother Amplified Eviction Show.

The svelte singer is expected to charm fans of the reality show with an amazing delivery of her upcoming single due for release later this year.

Zimbabwe has two housemates – Wendall Parson and Vimbai Mutinhiri – in Big Brother Amplified.

When contacted for comment yesterday, Cindy could not hide her joy at being invited to perform at Big Brother Amplified.

“I’m so excited about it and this is the biggest opportunity to showcase my talent and make Zimbabwe proud. I’m geared up and music lovers are in for a surprise,” she said.

Cindy will be travelling to South Africa this Friday together with her manager, the bubbly Chipo Mlambo, as well as three members of the famed hip-hop outfit called High Definition who are no strangers to international stage.

Also as part of the group will be one of her sexy female dancers who has performed alongside Cindy during her previous outings.
An elated Chipo said about the trip: “She is the best thing to happen on the music scene and I think she’s the best singer at the moment and it’s time Zimbabweans recognise local talent because other people internationally are doing so.”

She will be dressed by Alice Knuth of Countess K designs, who has designed for celebrities like Chiwoniso Maraire while Mercy Mushaninga of Gossip Models Agency sponsored the girls’ outfits.

Mixmasters produced the new single that she will be performing and a video of the song will be coming soon.

Cindy’s star has been shining ever since she shared the stage with international dancehall king Beenie Man at the Lion Summer Beer

Fest last year.

Blessed with a natural sultry voice, Cindy impressed many of her fans including Beenie Man with whom she did a duet of the song “Feel It Boy” originally done by Janet Jackson and Beenie Man.

However, Cindy fitted well in Janet’s shoes much to the delight of her fans.

She also headlined at the Coca-Cola Mafaro Chete concert held in Harare held this year.

Only in April, she curtain raised for Sean Kingston and again impressed Riley Urick, who has produced hits for Sean Kingston as well as Ashanti.

Together with Urick, Cindy recorded her new single, which will be released later in the year.

Cindy is currently riding high with her latest album titled “Tha Groove Theory” that features the hit single “Nerudo”.

Her first album was titled “Kukuda” and it features the songs “Stressed Out”, “Dhindindi” and the title track. – Herald.
