Church members have been urged take opportunity of the on-going biometric voter registration process and register to vote in next year’s harmonised elections.

The church also plays a critical role in the socio economic development of the nation and as such Zviratidzo Zvevapostori Apostolic Church held its congress in Buhera and urged its members to register to vote.

Zimbabwe Amalgamated Churches Council patron, Jimayi Muduvuri urged church members to go and register to vote as it is their constitutional right.

The Zimbabwe Electoral Commission has so far registered 40 000 prospective voters since the biometric voter registration started at 63 district offices countrywide.
