morgan-tsvangirai_1.jpgPrime Minister Mr. Morgan Tsvangirai has commended the church in Zimbabwe for fulfilling its mandate by promoting National Healing and Reconciliation.

 

Mr Tsvangirai made the remarks at the ZAOGA 50 years jubilee celebrations launch in Harare.

 

Christians from different denominations converged at a local hotel at the official launch of the ZAOGA jubilee celebrations.

 

Guest of honour Prime Minister Tsvangirai commended the church for playing its role of promoting peace and national healing at a time when the country was going through trying times.

 

Founder of the ZAOGA Church Professor Ezekiel Guti and Pastor Elliot Mandaza from New Life Ministries concurred that the church has a significant role to play in National Healing and Reconciliation adding that the country’s 30th  independence anniversary was a clear demonstration of how far the country has gone in terms of achieving tolerance.

   
Guests to the launch were treated to a variety of entertainment before the guest of Honor Prime Minister Tsvangirai, Professor Guti and his wife apostle Eunor Guti released some balloons into the air to signal the official launch of the jubilee celebrations.

 

ZAOGA was founded in 1960 by Professor Ezekiel Guti and has since spread to 70 nations.
