Midlands Minister of State Cde Owen Ncube says his office will not be used to divide people but to bring them together.

Minister Ncube said this during his visit to Gokwe-South.

Cde Ncube brought cheers and smiles to orphans at St Agnes Children’s Home, Gokwe prisoners, Gokwe Hospital and also managed to put a smile to women and children who sell horticulture produce at Bomba along the Gokwe-Kwekwe highway when he donated sugar, salt, rice, soap, fuel and an assortment of groceries.

Minister Ncube who has been donating to the institutions for the past three years said Christmas is a great time to give back and urged people to extend a helping hand to the less privileged in our society.

He warned those who want to use his office and name to divide people to desist from that as his office will never be used to create disharmony and to divide the people.

Handing over goodies to Gokwe Prison, Zanu PF Secretary for War Veterans, Detainees and Restrictees Cde Victor Matemadanda who accompanied Cde Ncube said although society does not condone crime inmates should celebrate Christmas like everyone else and urged them to take time to reflect on their mistakes and correct them for the benefit of their families and society at large.

The assortment of groceries donated including fuel is estimated to worth $10 000.
