As part of Christmas handouts, the First Lady Amai Auxillia Mnangagwa has donated clothing and food hampers for over hundred babies at Mpilo Central Hospital yesterday.

The goodies included baby fleece, towels, rice, wheat and other food stuffs.

After handing over the donations on behalf of the First Lady, Bulawayo Minister of State Cde Angeline Masuku described Amai Mnangagwa as humble and compassionate towards the needy.

In gratitude of the noble gesture, Zanu PF Central Committee member Cde Christopher Dube said children are a blessing and the First Lady’s initiative shows that she is a caring mother.

21 new babies were born this Christmas at Mpilo Central Hospital of which six were born through caesarian section.
