The church has been praised for being governmentâ€™s crucial partner in development.
This was said by Local Government, Urban and Rural Development Minister Cde Ignatius Chombo in Wedza at one of the annual festivals of Bethsaida Apostolic Church which attracted more than 20 000 people. Cde Chombo said the church compliments government efforts in fostering development through the setting up of vocational training centres and schools.
Bethsaida Apostolic Church founder and leader, Bishop Loveless Manhango said the church is facing challenges in acquiring land for development, adding that with the assistance from government, more projects will be rolled out for the good of the nation.
Founded by Bishop Manhango in 1952, Bethsaida Apostolic Church has spread to various countries in the region.

There are 3 boreholes at the site and government has promised to sink a fourth borehole to improve water supply. Government has also promised to avail land in different provinces for Bethsaida Apostolic Church.
