Three suspected cases of Cholera have been reported at three health centres in Mashonaland East Province.

Provincial Epidemiology and Diseases Control Officer, Dr Paul Matsvimbo said the suspected cases have been recorded at Epworth Polyclinic, Chihota rural health centre and Wedza hospital with all the patients having been traced to have visited Glenview area in Harare where there is an outbreak.

Dr Matsvimbo said treatment camps have already been established at the centres in the event of new cases with teams from the Ministry of Health and Child Care dispatched to spray suspected infected areas and also to conduct health awareness in the communities to avoid spread of the disease.
