The move follows their win of the National Students In Free Enterprises Award for the second year running during the recently held universities competition.

The students won the award after implementing two programmes meant to empower people living with HIV and AIDS and another one for orphaned children, as well as assisting in the establishment of a solar powered irrigation system for a community in Chivhu.

The community capacity building programme is run by university students under the concept ‘building opportunities on children’s talent’.

The concept also identifies and implements community development and empowerment programmes.
