China says it is committed to improving its relations with Zimbabwe by providing state of the art information and communication technology (ICT) equipment.

Chinese Ambassador to Zimbabwe, Mr Huang Ping told the ZBC News on the sidelines of a TelOne factory assessment by the Chinese delegation in Msasa, Harare today that his country wants to support the government of Zimbabwe in all sectors, including providing high performance computing system to TelOne.

A Chinese company, Inspur Group’s Vice President, Mr Peter Huang expressed satisfaction with the work they are doing in the country.

Telone Divisional Director – Infrastructure and Wholesales, Engineer Lawrence Nkala also said they are very excited to have investors partnering them since their factory was no longer productive. 

The equipment is expected to arrive in Zimbabwe in the next three months and the company has already installed another high performance computer at the University of Zimbabwe.
