China says it is committed to continue implementing agreements that were made between his country and Zimbabwe.
This was said by the Chinese Ambassador to Zimbabwe, Mr Huang Ping, when he paid a courtesy call on the Minister of Information, Media and Broadcasting Services, Cde Simon Khaya Moyo at his Munhumutapa offices in Harare today.
Speaking to journalists after a closed door meeting, Ambassador Huang said his visit was to congratulate Cde Khaya Moyo for being appointed the new Minister of Information, Media and Broadcasting Services.
Mr Huang added that Zimbabwe and China relations date back to the days of liberation struggle.
Cde Khaya Moyo and Mr Huang also discussed progress made in different fields of cooperation in different projects China is undertaking in Zimbabwe.
In 2015, 12 investment agreements were signed by China and Zimbabwe during the state visit of the Chinese President Xi Jinping.
