knowledge musona in action.jpgThe Zimbabwe U-23 national soccer team manager, Wellington Mpandare has accused South African club, Kaizer Chiefs of trying to derail the Young Warriors’ chances of beating their South African counterparts through their refusal to release striker Knowledge Musona for next weekend’s crucial All-Africa games qualifier.

Chiefs say Musona will not be available for the Young Warriors tie with Amagluglug next weekend owing to medicals that the “Smiling Assasin” has to undergo.

However, Mpandare insists such a development is a clear act of sabotage.
While Musona’s presence remains a contentious issue, Ajax Cape Town have confirmed the availability of Khama Billiart and Tafadzwa Rusike for the Young Warriors’ vital away tie.

Another foreign based player that will be available is Reading midfielder, Trevor Mutero who is expected to fly into the country this Tuesday.

Meanwhile the Zimbabwe U-23 players began trickling into camp this Monday ahead of next weekend’s match.
