Former champions Chicken Inn have maintained that winning the championship remains their top priority.

The Bulawayo side pronounced their bold declaration ahead of their big encounter against high flying Dynamos at Barbourfields Stadium this Sunday.

Chicken Inn has been recording some impressive results of late, save for the disappointing 2-nil loss to Chapungu this past weekend at Ascot Stadium and has maintained its desire to win the championship which the club tasted in 2015.

Despite losing key players in towering defender, Teenage Hadebe to crack South African side Kaizer Chiefs and Raphael Kutinyu to Tanzania, the side is confident amid indications they will soon be possible yet unnamed replacements.

In firing warning shots to their next opponents, Chicken Inn secretary general Tavengwa Hara believes his side has all that it takes to win not only the Sunday encounter but also the league’s top crown.

Going to the blockbuster encounter, the Gamecocks have already written to the Premier Soccer League requesting the permission of the league bosses to hike the gate charges for the tie with the VIP audience expected to part with US$15 while wings and rest of the ground pay US$10 and US$5 respectively.

Matches between the two sides have always ended in close shaves with expectations of another exciting performance on Sunday.
