Zimbabwe Cricket captain, Hamilton Masakadza has announced that he will be retiring from international cricket after Zimbabwe play in a T20 triangular series in Bangladesh.

Masakadza said it is a hard decision to make but after Zimbabwe’s suspension and missing out on the opportunity of playing at the T20 qualifiers, he has decided to call it quits.

Masakadza added that he feels it is time to give youngsters an opportunity but still harbours hopes of continuing to be involved with cricket.

Masakadza said his debut century against the West Indies and an away test win against Bangladesh are some of his career highlights.
