The Zimbabwe rugby team was in a bouyant mood after emerging victorious at the Castle Sevens Rugby Tournament hosted by Zambia in August.

Team head coach, Gilbert Nyamutsamba expressed confidence that the Cheetahs will maintain the positive momentum that guided them to glory in Zambia.

The Middleburg Sevens Tournament will feature teams such as the Springboks Sevens team, Botswana and Namibia.

South African provincial sides like the Pumas, Border, Sharks and Free State will also be part of the action.

The Cheetahs, who will be led by captain Jacques Laeto, will however be missing the services of UK based Justin Coles as well as German based duo of Gardner Nechironga and Manasah Seta.
