The much awaited Channel Two has successfully gone on air.


An assortment of local and international programmes have been lined up and so far some exciting programmes, among them the popular Rhythm City and Scandal, have been flighted, with more still to come.
The first news bulletin, the headlines, broadcast at 12 Midday also went on air smoothly.


Viewers who spoke to ZBC News welcomed the new channel and commended the national broadcaster saying they are heading towards the right direction.



The channel is transmitting on band three – 199.5 mega hertz, within an 80 kilometre radius of Harare.
Zimbabwe Broadcasting Corporation Public Relations Manager, Mr Sivukile Simango has assured viewers that the new station will bring a new look to the nation’s sole broadcaster.
