Kwemain salutes Zim Leadership

The organisation seeks to empower young people and to improve communities.
    
The JCI delegation which was accompanied to Zimbabwe House by the Minister of Youth Development, Indigenisation and Empowerment Cde Saviour Kasukuwere expressed readiness to support Zimbabwe in reclaiming its image as a peaceful attractive destination for business.

Restore normalcy and order, war vets urged

robert-mugabe-.jpgHead of State and Government and Commander-in-chief of the Zimbabwe Defence forces President Robert Mugabe who is also patron of the Zimbabwe war veterans association has urged war veterans to restore normalcy and order in the organisation which has been rocked by a power wrangle in recent months.

 

In a wide ranging discussion with journalists in the capital at Zimbabwe house in Harare, President Mugabe said the two feuding groups led by Jabulani Sibanda and Chinotimba splinter should sit down together at one meeting and resolve the leadership squabbles.

President Mugabe commends PM Tsvangirai

bob media ups2.jpgHead of State and Government and Commander-In-Chief of the Zimbabwe Defence Forces President Robert Mugabe Says, Prime Minister Morgan Tsvangirai has done a good thing in calling for the removal of the illegal EU and US sanctions imposed on Zimbabwe following the implementation of the land reform programme.

 

The President was responding to a question from the media fraternity during the presidential media briefing entitled meeting the press at Zimbabwe house in Harare yesterday. 

 

President Mugabe told the media that the call by the Prime Minister is welcome but it has to be pursued with greater vigour.

President Zuma calls for Lifting of sanctions

Speaking to journalists soon after arriving in the United Kingdom for a three-day state visit, President Zuma fulfilled his pledge to tell the British to lift the sanctions.
