Be sincere to your words – Zanu-PF women’s league

oppah.jpgJust a week after Prime Minister Morgan Tsvangirai’s call for the removal of illegal sanctions imposed on Zimbabwe, members of the Zanu-PF women’s League have encouraged the Prime Minister to be sincere and true to his words as Zimbabwe’s economy has been negatively affected.

Prime Minster Mr. Morgan Tsvangirai’s statement on the removal of sanctions has been acknowledged by various quarters with the Zanu- Pf Women’s league saying there is need for a more practical and sincere approach to this issue as the illegal sanctions have affected the populace economically and socially.

PM Tsvangirai echoes President Mugabe’s call

tsvangison.jpgMDC President Mr. Morgan Tsvangirai has echoed the Head of State and Government and Commander in Chief of the Zimbabwe defense forces President Robert Mugabe’s call for elections to be held in the next 18 to 24 months.

Speaking at his party’s rally at Chitungwiza’s Chibuku stadium the MDC President Mr. Tsvangirai said, it is agreed amongst parties to the inclusive government that elections should be held in the next 18 to 24 months. 

He said as soon as the constitution making process is complete the country will go for elections.

Zanu-PF now fulfilling election manifesto -Cde Shamu

Addressing Zanu-PF’s provincial leadership in Mutare, Cde Shamu said Zanu-PF is now fulfilling the election manifesto of 100 % total empowerment so that Zimbabweans can take charge of their economic destiny.

Emulate Susan Tsvangirai’s legacy – PM Tsvangirai

Speaking at a memorial to celebrate Amai Susan Tsvangirai’s  life held at the Glamis Stadium Prime Minister Tsvangirai said, Zimbabweans should unite and work together to develop the country. 

In his address entitled  “One person can make a difference” Prime Minister Tsvangirai described his wife Amai Susan Tsvangirai as a woman who played an influential supporting role that made a positive difference in his life and that of others who came into contact with her.
