ZANU PF politburo meets for talks


politburo.jpgThe ZANU PF politburo met yesterday to discuss a number of issues including reports from various departments and their budget proposals. 


The party’s Secretary for Information and Publicity, Cde Rugare Gumbo said he was impressed by the report from the commissariat which gave indications on how the party has to re-strategize and prepare for the next elections.


“The commissariat  touched on a number of issues and they are mapping out strategies of trying to revamp the party and trying to improve its energy.We are very….,and I am personally very confident that where we are going things are going to be ok,” said Cde Gumbo.

ZMC registers new papers

The Zimbabwe Media Commission has announced that it has registered four mass media publications with  immediate effect and has set a deadline for the renewal of accreditation for local journalists.
As part of fulfilling the demands of the Global Political Agreement, the Zimbabwe Media Commission chairman Mr. Godfrey Majonga said they have considered all applications for registrations by some mass media services .


Mr Majonga announced the successful application for registration of four titles which include three dailies and one weekly, previously a monthly newspaper.
