Meeting for Russia scholarships beneficiaries:

The Executive Director of the Presidential and National Scholarships, Dr Christopher Mushohwe is informing all students offered scholarships to study in Russia, to come with their parents to meet him tomorrow, Friday, the 22nd of this month. The meeting will be held at the Ambassador Hotel in Harare at 1400 hours. RBZ intervenes, pledges to pay Eskom $32m

The Reserve Bank of Zimbabwe (RBZ) will pay $32 million to South Africa power utility, Eskom to ensure continuous power supply to Zimbabwe. ZESA Holdings is complementing its power supplies by importing 300 mega watts from Eskom and HCB of Mozambique to cover a deficit which is hovering around 900 mega watts. Zim regains food security status

Zimbabwe has regained food security status after just one season under command agriculture. This was disclosed by the Acting President, Cde Emmerson Mnangagwa during a Zanu PF fundraising breakfast seminar which was fully subscribed in Harare this Thursday morning. The United Nations (UN) has reiterated its commitment towards supporting Zimbabwe’s development priorities under the 2016-2020 Zimbabwe United Nations Development Assistance Framework (ZUNDAF).
