Artists visit Chikurubi Maximum Prison

More than ten musicians visited inmates at the Chikurubi Maximum Prisons ahead of the Prisons Correctional Services Day commemorations to be held on the 14th of this month. The prisons family week has set the stage for the Prisons Correctional Services Day commemorations set for this Saturday. The musicians who included Sulumani Chimbetu, Biggie Tembo Jnr, Kapfupi, among others also visited inmates at Chikurubi and had a chance to mingle with them in a special family set up. Musica Festival kicks off

This year’s edition of Musica Festival 2017 kicked off this Wednesday (yesterday) in the capital with the performances from local and Italian musicians as well as fashion shows. The festival will run until the 7th of this month. Musica Festival is one of the largest cultural events in Zimbabwe organised by the Embassy of Italy. This Wednesday saw Prudence Katomeni Mbofana opening the show with African rhythm and the Italian acappella group “Mezzotono” living the crowd crying for more. Zim to host Miss Universe China pageant

In a bid to promote cultural exchange and business linkages between Zimbabwe and China, the Miss Universe China final competition will be held in Harare on the 9th of this month.
