Caps United goalkeeper, Edmore Sibanda says their 3-1 win over Dynamos will enhance the team`s confidence ahead of their next CAF Champions League assignment against TP Mazembe of the DRC.

 

Reigning league champions Caps United put smiles on the faces of their fans after a convincing 3-1 win steered them to the final of the ZNA Charity Shield.

 

After Sunday’s (yesterday) win Makepekepe did not appear too concerned to be in the final of the ZNA Charity Shield with focus on their next CAF Champions League assignment against TP Mazembe of DRC.

 

The Green Machine got their goals in Sunday’s win over Dynamos courtesy of an own goal and strikes by Leonard Tsipa and Dominic Chungwa.

 

The victory over DeMbare will come as a boost to the Green Machine who face a stern test against TP Mazembe of the DRC next month.

 

Mazembe received a bye in the preliminary round and will be adapting to a new approach after the appointment of new head coach Thierry Froger.

 

Caps got past the preliminary round after a 2-1 aggregate win over Lioli FC of Lesotho.
